Adding a New Domain
Welcome to GeoQR's domain management feature, where you can seamlessly integrate your custom domains with your QR codes. Follow these steps to add a new domain to your GeoQR account:
Navigate to Domain Settings
In the GeoQR application, head to the Settings section and find the Domain tab. This is where you can manage and add custom domains to enhance your QR code branding.
Add a New Domain
Once in the Domain section, locate the Add New Domain button. Clicking this button will prompt a dialog where you can input the URL of the new domain you wish to connect with GeoQR.
Create a 302 Redirect
After entering the domain URL, GeoQR will provide you with a specific URL that you need to create a 302 redirect for through your DNS provider or hosting platform. This step is crucial for establishing a connection between your custom domain and GeoQR.
Save and Validate
Once you've set up the 302 redirect, press the Save button. GeoQR will automatically initiate the validation process, checking for the connection and the functionality of the 302 redirect. If successful, your domain will be marked as valid.
Validation Status
Head back to the Domain page in Settings to view a table displaying your added domains. A successfully validated domain will appear as valid. In case of any issues with the 302 redirect, the status will be marked as invalid.
Retest or Revalidate
If your domain shows as invalid, you have the option to retest the validation or revalidate it. Click on the corresponding option to check the connection again and ensure the 302 redirect is working correctly.
Congratulations! You've successfully added and validated a new custom domain to GeoQR. Your QR codes will now carry the unique identity of your chosen domain, providing a branded experience for your audience.
