Redirect URLs Configuration

In GeoQR, configuring Redirect URLs allows you to define the destination links for your QR codes. This includes specifying a default URL and creating GeoLinks to tailor the user experience based on their location. Follow these steps to set up Redirect URLs effectively:

Specify Default URL

When creating or editing a QR code, you will encounter the option to set a Default URL. This URL serves as the fallback destination for users who scan the QR code but are not located in any specified geo-linked country.

Adding GeoLinks

Enhance your user's experience by creating GeoLinks – links specific to users in certain countries. Follow these steps:

1. Select a Country

In the GeoLinks section, choose the country for which you want to create a specialized link.

2. Add Country-specific URL

Input the URL that users from the selected country will be redirected to when scanning the QR code.

3. Save GeoLink

After adding the country and URL, save the GeoLink configuration. Repeat these steps for each country you want to customize the experience for.

Managing GeoLinks

In the QR code editing interface, you can view and manage the configured GeoLinks. Easily edit or delete GeoLinks to keep your QR code destinations up-to-date.

Testing GeoLinks

Before finalizing your QR code, take advantage of the Test GeoLinks feature. This allows you to simulate scans from different countries, ensuring that users will be directed to the correct URLs based on their location.

Default URL Validation

Ensure that the specified Default URL is valid and functional. This URL acts as a safety net for users not covered by specific GeoLinks.

Save and Apply

Once you have configured the Redirect URLs and GeoLinks, save your changes. Your QR code is now ready to provide a tailored experience for users based on their geographical location.
