Revalidating a Domain
In certain scenarios, custom domains associated with your GeoQR account may require revalidation. This process ensures that the domain remains correctly configured for optimal functionality. If initial validation fails or if you encounter any issues, you can manually revalidate a domain through your account settings.
Automatic Validation
When you create or attempt to validate a custom domain, GeoQR performs an automatic validation process. In most cases, this validation is successful, and your domain is ready to use. However, if automatic validation fails, you may need to revalidate the domain manually.
Manual Revalidation
Follow these steps to revalidate a custom domain:
Log in to your GeoQR account.
Navigate to the "Settings" or "Custom Domains" page.
Locate the custom domain you want to revalidate in the domain table.
On the right side of the domain entry, you'll find three dots (ellipsis). Click on these dots to reveal a dropdown menu.
From the dropdown menu, select "Revalidate Domain."
A validation attempt will be triggered, and you will receive feedback on the status.
Note: If the revalidation is successful, your domain remains active. If not, carefully review any error messages or instructions provided to troubleshoot and make the necessary adjustments.
By revalidating your custom domain, you ensure that your QR codes continue to function seamlessly, providing an optimal experience for users scanning your codes.
