How it works
GeoQR receives the request and resolves it using the destinations configured for that code. Standard scans open the selected destination, while GS1-aware requests can return product resources or a Linkset.

A GS1 Digital Link puts a GS1 identifier, such as a GTIN, into a web address. That address can redirect a normal scan and can also expose typed product resources to software that requests them.
Yes. The QR code contains a normal HTTPS address, so a standard phone camera can open it. GeoQR then returns the configured default or country-specific destination for an ordinary scan.
Choose GS1 Digital Link when the code should identify a product using its GTIN and provide structured product resources. Choose a standard dynamic QR code when you mainly need editable destinations for a campaign, sign, event, or another general-purpose link.
You can change destinations, country rules, and product resources after publishing. The identifier and resolver hostname encoded in the QR code do not change unless you create and print a new code.
GS1-aware systems can request a specific resource type or a Linkset containing the resources connected to the product. GeoQR supports human-readable resource lists, Linkset JSON, and JSON-LD responses.
Yes. You can use a verified customer-owned resolver domain. Because the hostname is stored in the printed QR code, choose the domain before the final print run.
No. GeoQR validates supported Digital Link syntax and GTIN check digits, but it does not issue identifiers or verify ownership. Your organization remains responsible for using valid identifiers and publishing accurate product information.
GeoQR manages the Digital Link, routing rules, and connected resource URLs. Your product pages, instructions, safety documents, and other content remain at URLs controlled by your organization.
GeoQR can connect an existing Digital Product Passport as a typed product resource. It does not create the passport or determine whether a product meets regulatory requirements.
